Spring Has Sprung

Well I took the same picture last fall. The turtles are back, the fields are drying out, we are warming up. Life is good!

Spice It Up!

Rush at 24

Well 24 inches didn't slow the Rushy down. Congratulations to Karen and Rush - 4 firsts at the trials last week. Thanks to the Danville Kennel Club for inviting us to shoot.

Fall - My Favorite Season

Well the ducks are arriving in the pond and the turtles are warming up on the log - so it must be fall - hooray for my favorite season!

Adventure Dog

Well Spinner and I have done a ton of hiking lately. Here's one from our very very steep climb up the Appalachian Ridge behind our friends Chris and Mick in Ashville.

Snowed In!

Well who would have thunk it. Snowed in at Fletcher for the Golden Retriever nationals. Karen and Rushy did great - first place in STD and only a tunnl entry from the same in JWW.

Agility Nights

Thanks to the GKC and Border Crossing for having us shoot last weekend. The weather co-operated - just a little rain and all the RVers had a super Taco party on Saturday night. Looking forward to Belroi at Border Crossing this weekend.

What A Team!

First off thanks to the DKC for having us out to shoot their trial last weekend. Other than a slight drizzle on Friday the weather turned out to be superb. Also a shout out to Karen and Rush for a superb weekend. The ride home was most enjoyable :-)

Swamp Collie Coffee

Well, a new little venture starting up here - Swamp Collie Coffee. I finally decided to jump into the roasting business. Spent so much time brewing the perfect cup I guess it made sense to start roasting it as well. Here's a quick snap of the sample roaster at work. A fine Guatemalan on its way.
