Well 24 inches didn't slow the Rushy down. Congratulations to Karen and Rush - 4 firsts at the trials last week. Thanks to the Danville Kennel Club for inviting us to shoot.
Stewart Event Images is on the road most weeks shooting performance dog events. In between dog shows we manage to squeeze in a little diving some underwater photography and lots of great espresso. This blog is a way to share our pictures and experiences with our friends.

Swamp Collie Coffee
Well, a new little venture starting up here - Swamp Collie Coffee. I finally decided to jump into the roasting business. Spent so much time brewing the perfect cup I guess it made sense to start roasting it as well. Here's a quick snap of the sample roaster at work. A fine Guatemalan on its way.

SuperNova in M82
On January 21st a group of astronomy students spotted a supernova in
M82, the famous nearby irregular galaxy in Ursa Major. I took this picture of M82 with the supernova on January 24th. The bright star is the supernova. The galaxy M82 is about 11.5 million light years from earth.
